Network Marketers - Do Cold Calling Leads Cause You Anxiety?

It's 6:30pm Monday night and Nathan Networker rolls up to the desk in his plush black leather swivel. He switches on the lamp and thumbs straight through his files. While listening to the frightening sound of his racing heart pound against his chest, Nathan nervously reaches for the phone. With his slippery sweaty palm resting gently on the receiver, he travels ahead in time. His wife and kids are building a castle on the white sands of Hawaii, while he lounges in the shade working from his lap top. Once again, cold harsh reality snaps him back to the this unpleasant journey he must feel for the sake of his dreams, and his family. But he sits and stares at the phone; paralyzed by fear and anxiety of cold calling leads.

Nathan joined his firm 3 months ago but still isn't development a dime. He has tried several associates over the past 6 years, and received very microscopic results. He is optimistic, hardworking, open to learn, and carefully to fulfill his dreams. He has learned and applied cold calling techniques practiced by his Sponsor and Upline. But it never seems to work for him. He loves Network Marketing but cringes at the mere view of picking up that terrifying 200 pound phone, and calling an additional one tacky-tire-kicker! He can't turn to his warm shop because he scared them away a long time ago! So, he has no selection but to dial for dollars. Or does he?

Once Networkers exhaust their warm market, they are taught to hope the cold market. One tasteless recipe used is: Cold calling leads of opening seekers, or Network Marketing genealogy lists. Since most members have no foundation in marketing and sales, they suffer, and see poor results.

One would think that the "cold calling" recipe works wonders since the business extremely promotes is as and a way to keep a large amount of fresh new prospects flowing straight through the pipe-line. The truth is: This recipe works best for well Seasoned Networkers, and members with sales backgrounds. average members struggle with call reluctance because they're not expertly trained sales people, and they hate feeling rejected. Yes, they can consequent using this strategy but they must be willing to learn sufficient phone skills, make at least 100 calls per day, then try to duplicate the same practices to their downline.

For Networkers, like Nathan, who hate cold calling and failing, there Is a best way. Many Heavy Hitters know the solution. They use it keep a steady stream of members flowing straight through their business. Unfortunately, they don't readily share this information with everybody in their downline for fear of competition. Or, they just don't view everybody as capable of implementing these developed tactics.

Here's The Solution:

1. Build Your Own List Of Prospects: create what's called a "capture or landing" page. feature and express the pure benefits of joining you and your business, without giving away too much info. Make them interesting and serious about signing and studying more! The written content on your capture page should be in conversational tone. Speak and reveal to them just as you would a friend. Add an audio, and/or video of yourself to the page. To get started, pick one class of citizen to target and focus on for now: At home moms, dads, mlmers, Baby Boomers, college students, etc. This recipe will brand you as a leader, and have prospects calling You for a change!

2. consequent Up With An Autoresponder: create a series of about 5 consequent up letters (write more later) and add them to an autoresponder. Then, associate the autoresponder to your capture page. The letters will reflect the capture page, reveal to the needs of your target (ex. At home moms), and furnish a solution to their problems. Be sure to add your contact info, website address, testimonials, recorded call info, etc. Then, tell the hope what to do at the end: Call you, join now, etc.

3. Promote Your Captures Page: Once the set up is complete, start marketing on (and off) the Internet. There are many resources to learn marketing: Books, Cds, Dvds, video tutorials, or e-books.

The objective is to come to be the hunted, and not the hunter! This one tactic creates 4 to 5 outline monthly incomes pretty quickly. Some Networkers, like Nathan, will step "outside of the box", and come to be leaders. They will move on to build immense organizations. The sad truth is: Most Networkers won't.
