How to good Your Chances in the Job market - The Psychological Aspect

Its not always an easy task to have a victorious interview and finally getting the job you have been waiting for. But to be fair, it's not the most difficult achievement in the world either.

Lets look at it in this way. First of all, you have a group of habitancy who struggle so much in the job market. They are those that more or less have given up. They don't even write personal letters anymore. I for one know some of them myself. On the other hand you have those that excel in any interview situations and almost receives job offers at will. Of course the job market is not that black and white, but the suspect i excellent these wholly different examples is to feature some leading factors that separates those two groups in matters connected to work and profession.

So what makes them so different? How can some habitancy get surely hired, while others struggle in equal measure. Qualifications perhaps. Well, there is plentifulness of habitancy out there in high positions without any sorts of college degree, and in the same time you have so many with good papers, but without a relevant job. That should mean there is other leading factors to look at when applying for a new job. Of course a good instruction will open many doors, but it will be all lost if u don't also have other strengths to play on.

What about talent then? Maybe that's the talk to success

Like anyone else there is some genius individuals that excels in anyone that they come across. And while i agree there is some talented and brilliant habitancy out there, we should know its only the exception, not the rule. The true fact is, most habitancy nearby the world that has ever concluded something, in large or small scale, has done it thanks to hard work, strong confidence and sheer will. Only few have managed it thanks to a natural-born talent.

Hard work, strong confidence and sheer will A little example could be sport athletes. Many of us watch these stars with great interest, and we all know there is plentifulness of talented athletes out there showing off their skills week in, week out. But how many times haven`t you watched some hilarious footballers on Tv, and wondered how on earth they have managed to end up on a football ground. surely not because of talent. If not for talent then they must have worked relentlessly hard for many years and combined it with great confidence in their questionable abilities. Add that to a small measure of will and you have a multimillionaire football star, laughing all the way to the bank.

In other words they surely believed in themselves, and after confidence they worked for their target as hard as they possibly could. You get far by believing you are the best player in the world, even if you are one of the least best. That means we all have a fair chance of achieving any exact goal that we set.

So how does this method apply to a job seeker?

Lets start from the day your mind settle you are finding for a job. That means the day you settle you are a job seeker. That day you have started a process, namely a job seeking process. The outcome of the process will review how much (little) of effort you have put into the task. In the end you will either reach your goal and be in work in no time, or you will give up after a while and end the process. Lets also give the process a time limit or a deadline. This is not vital in your approach, but i will be using it to gift the method more almost in this article.

When choosing a time limit, we have the short-term and the long-term and the only distinction in choosing in the middle of them depends basically on your situation and how fast you surely need a new job.

Can you work hard, be distinct and full of will for just a short time? For the moment let us merge on the short-term as habitancy generally are less flexible with time when finding for a new vacancy. On your resume, most of the time you write "shortly", when describing your availability for a vacancy. That means in most cases when you are in look for a job, you want it as soon as possible.

So lets see what happens when we use our method in a short-timed job seeking process. Using the formula, we have decided to work hard from the very first day, be distinct all the way and be full of will until the time is up. Before finding more intimately at the law of the method let us insert someone else fundamental element into our process, namely a plan. Every task that needs to be completed requires a plan. Without a plan, any task will be fruitless and meaningless. In this report i will not go into the subject of what kind of plan you will need to result in the job hunting process (what methods you will be using, how to write your resume, what you should say on the interview day) as i am only expressing my views from a psychological and a mental point of view. However, you should be aware of the point of planning well. Generate a detailed plan, and result it step by step.

Now lets return to our method and see if we can put it into practice. Target: New job Time limit: The task should be concluded within 1-3 months

Work hard daily

With hard work, i mean that you are giving your utmost under this period. Let us be clear about one thing- there is no shortcut to good result, you will have to work for it. That means you should be treating the job seeking process as a full-time job itself. Let it be your biggest priority for the next few months. If you have other distractions or things that can make you busy, stop it immediately or postpone it for at least a few months. You should be ready to do anyone required to make sure your process ends with success. Expect waking up seven o'clock every morning to visit different offices and companies. Be ready to write resumes and Cvs on a daily basis. Search the knowledge you lack to put in order yourself for the interview, writing a good resume/Cv etc.

I admit you will taste some difficult days and sometimes you might even feel that you are wasting your time, but believe me, in the end its worth every second.

Confidence- make sure the interview becomes your most distinct hour

This is very essential. possibly the particular most leading factor for a job seeker as you will need this ingredient especially while the interview.

You might give much concept to the point of having a good-looking Cv. While a Cv/resume will be the first impression you give to a hereafter employer, all that will be worthless if your confidence disappear on the interview day. They say confidence counts for nearby 90 % in interviews, so make sure you build up your self-confidence before any interview. But what if you cant be confident? Well, then act like one. I will never forget the words of a old colleague of mine when once asked what he will do if he suddenly in a debate came up against a much more knowledgeable person. He plainly answered that he from that moment was a professor himself to outweigh the situation.

The moral here is- you have to be a fearless job hunter, throwing yourself at every chance you can find. You are selling yourself- so make sure what you are selling is in good quality. An interview usually last nearby 30-60 minutes, or even less than that. What you should know is that the first 15 seconds of the interview, gives the boss more impression of you than the rest of the interview. Keep that always in mind.

One of the most base first query from an interviewer is- would you like a cup of coffee? Don't even think about answering no to this question, always talk yes, no matter how much you hate coffee. You will probably not be drinking much of it anyway. Its the excellent ice-breaker and a great chance to Generate a good atmosphere in the middle of you and the interviewer.

Prepare well for the interview (especially those first 15 seconds) and give your best performance, and hopefully the success will be just nearby the corner.

Its all about will

Performing any leading task is dependent on a strong will, motivation and patience. Your goal is to be in a new job in the near future. If that happens it would mean your status will change. You will no longer be a job seeker, but an employee. Your mind will no longer be busy with who should receive your next Cv, instead you will be busy with which suit you should be wearing to the work tomorrow. You will get new friends and new colleagues. You might even start mental about which country you should visit on your next vacation.

All this should be sufficient as a motivation for you, and once your motivation level is at an appropriate level you should automatically have the will and compel you need to retain and faultless the process. Therefore make sure that you are fully motivated before you start on the task. Ask yourself some few query first. What kind of job do i want? Why do i need a new job? What is the distinct of a new job? How will it convert your daily life? Will you growth your knowledge at the same time as you earn your living? Answering these questions will measure your ambition and motivation level, and should give you an indication of how much you surely want a new job.

Following the procedures of this formula, will not instantly certify you a new job, but i believe it will help you in such way, that you will feel that you have every bit of a chance as anyone else and remove any mental block from your mind.
